serial #8759p, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright excellent bore and strong rifling. The metal surfaces retain about 95-97% original blue, the loss due to fading of the straps and muzzle. The toggle is marked with the "S/42" assembly code, the chamber is dated 1939 and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the grooved firing pin. The checkered walnut grips rate excellent with only minor flattening of the points and are stamp-numbered to the gun on their interior. Included is a single blue-bodied aluminum-based magazine numbered "7757r" and is stamped with an "SE-63" acceptance stamp which rates very good with some minor fading of the blue. Overall an excellent example of an S/42-coded P.08 with an excellent bore. (218050-51) {C&R} (1500/1800) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
