632. Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle

serial #919079, 25-20, 24" octagon barrel with full magazine and a bright near excellent bore having some very light frosting closest to the muzzle. The barrel retains about 95% original blue evenly thinning to brown with scattered spots of fine oxidation staining and light silvering along the edges and muzzle. The action retains an overall mottled brown patina with a lighter gray along the edges and gripping points and traces of original blue around the protected areas of the lever. The plain walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with a few light handling marks retaining nearly all its original finish. The crescent steel buttplate has mellowed to a pale brown patina with a few specks of light staining. Rifle is sighted with standard sporting sights.
