serial #953i, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright about excellent bore with strong rifling and only minor frosting along its length. The metal surfaces retain about 92-95% original blue, the loss due to fading on the straps with muzzle and high point wear. The toggle is marked with the "S/42" assembly code, the chamber is dated 1938 and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the grooved firing pin. The checkered walnut grips rate very good with only minor flattening of the points and they are un-numbered. Included is a single blue-bodied aluminum-based magazine numbered "1160j" and with an "SE-83" acceptance stamp which rates excellent with only minor fading of the blue. Overall a nice 1938 produced Luger (218050-351) {C&R} (1200/1600) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
