serial #743h, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright about excellent bore showing strong rifling and only minor frosting along its length. The metal surfaces retain about 92-95% original blue, the loss due to high edge and contact point wear and some minor pinprick pitting on both sides of the frame and frontstrap. The straw parts retain a strong straw temper with some minor fading and light oxidation staining mostly on the right side parts. The magazine release spring, sear spring and breech block pin still retain some pale fire temper blue color. The toggle is marked DWM, the chamber is dated 1915 and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the un-grooved firing pin. The checkered walnut grips rate very good with only minor flattening of the points and a few dings here and there and they are stamp-numbered to the gun on their interior. Included is a single bright-bodied wood-based magazine numbered "743" and includes a "+" and an Army acceptance stamp which rates excellent. Overall a nice example of an Imperial era Luger pistol.
